It wasn't quite as warm on Saturday so we decided to head indoors and check out the Franklin Park Conservatory. We hadn't been in 2 years (I was pregnant with Cece last time) and spent a couple hours wandering around the different areas and letting the girls play at the kids' area. They're building a new outdoor area which looks awesome so we're going to try and come back again this summer once that part is open. After Cece's nap that afternoon, we went to dinner at The Rail, a new burger restaurant which prides themselves on locally sourced beef. We got there right before the dinner rush and enjoyed burgers, fries, and split a couple milkshakes.
Sunday morning was Lucy's last Sunday school class for the year so we all went to mass (typically, Todd & I rotate who takes her to church so we don't have to take Cece) since all the Sunday school kids were putting on a short concert afterwards and we both wanted to watch Lucy sing. By some sort of miracle, Cece was very well-behaved during mass too so it wasn't quite as stressful as I imagined! The rest of the day Todd spent cutting the grass and working in the basement while Lucy ran some errands with me when Cece was napping at home.

Entrance to the conservatory
Chihuly is prominent throughout the conservatory; this piece is on the ceiling...
as well as this piece

The girls exploring and checking everything out
Always have to get a sister pic
The tulips were in bloom in one of the courtyards and were so pretty
Todd & Cece watching the train
The girls playing in the kids' area
And playing some more
I was almost certain Cece was going to end up in the water because she kept trying to lean over to pet the fish

Butterfly exhibit in the Pacific Island Water Garden area
Loved all the beautiful butterflies flying around
The blue ones were my favorite
Lucy looking around for more butterflies
At The Rail, Todd & I split the Savage shake (chips, pretzels, caramel, peanut butter, and chocolate)
Lucy had a marshmallow milkshake...and Cece took sips from both
Todd & I couldn't decide what to get so we both got a burger and then split them so we could try two (I got the 7th Heaven Burger, which is below, and had truffle butter and bacon on it while Todd got the Bootlegger that had bbq sauce and onion straws)
Lucy walking into church with all the other kids
Lucy singing in the front row
There were probably about 75-100 kids singing
